Pearson, "Social Darwinism: Imperialism Justified by Nature"

Social Darwinism is applicable to cultures vs. cultures
-Some tribes in Africa have thrived for hundreds of years and have had no need to create a civilization like that of Europe
-These people could be just as successful as Europeans if given similar education and nuturing
-Races are not meant to mix, but to stay seperate from each other
-Races do not mix well in the Americas, South Africa, or Australia
-For success in current times of international struggles, everyone from factory workers to government officials must be properly educated
-Nations must fight each other for trade-routes, supplies, and resources
"The Path of Progress is strewn with the wrecks of nations"
-These "wrecks of nations" have laid the stepping-stones by which society has risen to its current, lofty place
