Kurt Ludecke - The Demagogic Orator

Ludecke describes Hitler's outstanding oratory skills and his ability to captivate and hypnotize his audience.

Tactics:
Use of stirring marches, awe-inspiring banners and hundreds of soldiers
Creating intense emotion through exaggerated hand gestures, expressions, and shouting
Attacking opponents with biting sarcasm while upholding nationalism
Mob psychology and the use of chants and mass oaths

And the results..."Presently my critical faculty was swept away. Leaning from the tribune as if he were trying to impel his inner self into the consciousness of all these thousands, he was holding the masses, and me with them, under a hypnotic spell by the sheer force of his conviction."

"I don't know Liza, but I suddenly have an intense desire to join the navy!"
